I painted “Flower Wisdom” for the book by Katherine Kear about the myth and magic of flowers.
Each flower written about in this guidebook is represented in the painting, along with a few of my own favourite symbols such as the wren and the owl feather.
The little garden arch leads to a faint misty landscape, somewhere to wander in your imagination.
This limited edition print is a high quality giclee, on 305g Hahnemuhle photo rag ultra smooth paper. It is light fast and acid free. The image measures 21cm square, with a wide (at least 4cm) white border.
